followed by live Blues and Jazz by Jeff Hayes and “Two Scoops”.
We will be serving drinks and snack – come and celebrate with us! You may recognize Jeff, he comes to yoga often in the noon hours!
Known by his peers as one of the best blues brothers on the circuit, Jeff Hayes has been banging his drums on a dozen recordings with five different bands that included top talent from Washington, Oregon, Mississippi, Colorado and the U.K. You can find him lending his beat, plus songwriting & lead vocal credits on many pressings over the years.
Playing live is where Jeff is home and he has graced the stages of the major festivals in the Pacific NW and several national festivals including the San Felipe Blues Festival in San Felipe Mexico, King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, AK and the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, OR. He has played along side such greats such as the late Pinetop Perkins, Michael Burke, Bob Margolin, Mookie Brill, Peter Damann, Eden Brent, John-Alex Mason, Robbie Jordan and Eric “Two Scoops” Moore.
DRUMMERBOY is an all-star ensemble of top roots music musicians drawn from a roster assembled, directed, and maintained by Jeff Hayes (aka DRUMMERBOY). Specializing in all types of blues to honky tonk and alt country, DRUMMERBOY varies in size from 2-piece to 6-pieces, depending on the size of the event, atmosphere needed, and your specific needs for entertainment. Playing traditional blues – like Texas, Chicago, New Orleans, Delta, jump – DRUMMERBOY is a revolution in roots music like no other.
Eric “Two Scoops” Moore serves up a unique blend of rollicking boogie-woogie humor and heart-felt blues. Eric “Two Scoops” Moore stirs fun into his audience with the touch of a master chef. His legendary ability to transport listeners to Chicago, Kansas City or New Orleans in a flash has been documented in countless fan testimonials. In a typical show, Two Scoops breathes new life into familiar favorites and delivers generous portions of crowd-pleasing hits from his own records.
Eric “Two Scoops” Moore toured and recorded with the late Chicago blues harpmaster, “Earring” George Mayweather (7 years) and the great Muddy Waters guitarist, Grammy and Handy award winner, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson (6 years). Two Scoops has performed his brand of boogie magic at premier blues venues and festivals in 36 states, 12 countries on three continents.
